Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, at Assumption Catholic Church in Florian. The Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren is in charge of the arrangements.
Joseph J. Budziszewski was born on March 6, 1945 in Strandquist, the son of Gerard and Florence (Stusynski) Budziszewski. He graduated from Strandquist High School in 1963 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy that same year.
On September 10, 1966, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Dine in Queens, N.Y. After 11 years in the Navy, he went to work for Electric Boat Works in Groton, Conn. as a computer engineer on nuclear submarines. At the time of his death, he was employed as a computer specialist by Foxworth Casino.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Carolyn; one son, Greg (Susan) of Durham, N.C. one daughter, Diane (Charles) Radell of Dayville, Conn.; three grandchildren; his father and stepmother, Gerard and Phyllis Budziszewski of Strandquist; one sister, Rosemary Budziszewski of St. Paul; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
