Stephen - Frank Kasprowicz, 66, died Thursday, September 10, 1998 at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls.
Services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 14 at Assumption Catholic Church in Florian. Burial was in Assumption Catholic Cemetery. The Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren was in charge of the arrangements.
Frank Stefan Kasprowicz was born on September 18, 1931 in Wanger township, rural Stephen, the son of Stefan and Steffie (Tulibaski) Kasprowicz. He was a life-long resident of the Stephen area. He farmed with his father until he was drafted into the U.S. Navy in November of 1955. He served on board the USS Chemung during the Formosa crisis. After his discharge in August of 1957 he again farmed with his father.
On November 7, 1970 Frank was united in marriage to Veronica Schmitz in Red Lake Falls. He retired from farming in 1992.
Frank was a life-long member of Assumption Catholic Church, was a member of the Stephen American Legion and also served on the Wanger township board. He enjoyed the outdoors and liked to deer hunt and fish.
Frank is survived by his wife, Veronica; one brother, John of Warren; four sisters, Lorraine (Harry) Adamski and Theresa (Laures) Kleinwachter of Stephen, Evelyn Erickson of Thief River Falls, and Leona (John) Konickson of Plummer; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Lawrence, Joseph and Walter; and one sister, Margaret.
