Warren - John Kasprowicz, 65, died Saturday, April 24, 1999 at his home in Warren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 29 at Assumption Catholic Church in Florian with Reverend Raymond Palcisko as celebrant. Casketbearers will be Kevin Erickson, Mike Szklarski, Terry Konickson, Paul Tulibaski, Dan Osbjornson and Steve LaDuke. Burial will be in Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Florian. The Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
John Walter Kasprowicz was born on July 26, 1933 in the Florian area, the son of Stefan and Steffie (Tulibaski) Kasprowicz. He spent his early years in the Florian area and graduated from Stephen High School in 1952. After graduation, he worked in California and Minneapolis and St. Paul before returning to Florian in the early 1960's. John worked for area farmers and moved to Warren in 1991.
He enjoyed reading and visiting with family and friends.
Survivors include four sisters, Lorraine (Harry) Adamski and Theresa (Laures) Kleinwachter, both of Stephen, Evelyn Erickson of Thief River Falls and Leona (John) Konickson of Plummer; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
John was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Lawrence, Joseph, Walter and Frank; and one sister, Margaret.
