Yutrzenka, 88, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2003 at the Good Samaritan
Center in Warren. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at
the St. Rose of Lima Catholic
Church in Argyle. Interment was at the St. Rose Cemetary in Argyle.
Irene Dulinski was born on January 12, 1915 in Duluth, the daughter of Stanley and Helen Dulinski. She attended St. Anthony's Grade School and Girls Cathedral High in Duluth. On August 1, 1936, she was united in marriage to Mert Yutrzenka. They lived in Duluth until 1938 when they moved to Argyle, where they farmed. Irene cared for many children of working mothers over the years at her farm home. Mert died on March 10, 1981.
She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, St. Anne's Society, Catholic Foresters, Catholic Daughters, American Legion Auxiliary, Historical Society, Tri-Town Homemakers, Senior Citizen's Club and was the head of St. Rose Bazaar Committee for twelve years.
Survivors include twin sons; Tom (Judy) of Viking and Ted of Argyle; Janice (Donald) Gryskiewicz of Stephen, and Ray (Chris) Yutrzenka of Carlsbad, Calif. Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, brother, George (Charlene) Dulinski of Duluth, two sisters, Patricia (Bill) Werner of Duluth, and Dorothy Pecore of Virginia, and several nieces and nephews and special friend, Mary St. Germain.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Mildred LaFlair and Eleanore Abrahamson; brothers, Charles and Leonard; daughter-in-law, Janet Yutrzenka and two grandchildren.
