Please find your replacement or switch with another group member if you can't help.

 

Menu:  Meatballs & Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Cole Slaw, Buns, Pickles, Coffee & Water

 

Friday Night September 17th:

 

6PM    Mix Meat, Form Meatballs, Bake, Store in Refrigerator  (and/or help with potatoes)

6PM   Peel Potatoes, put in Cold Water/Pails  (and/or help with meatballs)

Do Not cut pickles.  Do not put Salt/Pepper on Tables.  Family will have all tables set as they wish.  If there is room in refrigerators, you can fill Water Pitchers with water so it is cold for the next day. 

 

Saturday, September 18th:       

           (Family requests serving begin as soon as people come down – so be ready by 4:15-ish)

 

Preparation:  1pm

     Mix Meatballs & Gravy, put liners in Roasters, begin heating Meatballs/Gravy. 

     Start Water boiling for Potatoes.  Potatoes should be ready for mashing at around 3:30/3:45.

     Mix Coleslaw, Pickles in Glass Bowls, Cut and Butter Buns.  Start 2 of the Large Coffee Makers.

     No punch preparation will be needed.  Fill Coffee Thermos' with Hot Water.

     Heat Corn so it is ready by 4:00pm.

Serve and Clean Up  3PM

     Meatballs and Gravy will go on serving table in the Roaster Pans.

     Mashed Potatoes will go in the Chaffing Dish – make sure the cans are full of oil.

     Corn can be served in the silver metal serving bowls. (Add Butter)

     Coleslaw in Glass Bowls, Pickles in Glass dish.

     Buns in Baskets (provided by family – not our small baskets),

     Place filled Water Pitchers and Coffee thermos on tables at 3:45.  Servers and hosts will do refills.

     Wash Dishes, Help put left overs in to storage.

    Clean Up  Sunday September 19th or Monday September 20th:       Delphine P.     Sarah Ombler.

Sweep and Wash Kitchen Floors.  Clean Bathrooms – wash floor, toilets, empty garbages.

(If needed: Wash off Kitchen Cupboards, Stoves, Refrigerators if needed. Put any dishes, utensils, etc back where belong.   Empty any garbages and take to dumpster.)

Family/Clean up after reception is responsible to clean off all tables, bring dirty things to the kitchen, throw plates/table covering, etc in garbages,  put all chairs on top of tables, sweep and wash hall floors, and remove all their decorations, boxes, etc.
