Using a Needle Scaler for a Power Rammer

After my arm got too tired to ram sand with wooden rammer we tried "air power". Several years ago we got this needle scaler from Harbor Freight . The needles come right off.

The business end is about an inch and a half in diameter. Although the exhaust ports are directed at the sand, they don't interfere.

We use about 25 pounds of air pressure.
