Welcome to the Lake of the Woods Steam & Gas Engine
Association's home page. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to
preserving and displaying the tools and equipment used during and
before the early 20th century.
The main focus of our annual show is steam traction engines, tractors
and other farm equipment of the early 1900s, but we also cover other
aspects of life in that era.
Our annual show is held on the weekend of the first Sunday in
August, 9 miles North of Roosevelt, Minnesota, on the Grove
family farm, near the intersection of County Hwy 17 & County
Road 50.
directions: from the West through
Warroad, or from the East through
Baudette.
(If these directions fail again due to Mapquest
changes, please let us know.)
