Thought to ponder

Here is a thought  for all of you to ponder.

Water  (H2O) is made up of two Hydrogen and one Oxygen molecule.
Hydrogen is  a highly flammable gas, and Oxygen is required for combustion to take place.

(The photo on the left is the Hindenberg May 6, 1937, the graphic on the right shows the  three things needed for combustion.)

So now why when  one Oxygen molecule bonds with two Hydrogen molecules do we as fire fighters get  the best tool for extinguishing fires???????
