Rules and Regulations
- No firearms or weapons
- Motorized vehicles must remain in the parking area unless
otherwise authorized
- Pets must be leashed
- Pack out your own garbage
- No collecting of materials unless otherwise authorized
Location/Directions
- From Warren, Minnesota (approximately 8 miles): 5 miles
east on Highway #1; 3 miles south on gravel road (see "Audubon
Sanctuary 3 miles" sign); and 1/2 mile east.
- From East Grand Forks, Minnesota (approximately 40
miles): 10 miles north on Highway #220; east on County Road 23 to
Highway #75 (Angus, MN); 5 miles north on Highway #75; 5 miles east
on gravel road (see Audubon Sanctuary sign) to Sanctuary
Things to Bring:
- Binoculars, spotting scope, or other optics (binoculars
available to rent)
- Camera, video recorder
- Insect repellant, head net
- Skis or snowshoes
- Field guide books (available for sale in the Visitor Center)
- Food and drinks (water and microwave available in Visitor Center)
