Birds:

Ducks (including nesting wood ducks), Canada geese, sharp-tailed grouse, grebes, rails, herons, bitterns, snipe, sandhill cranes, hawks, owls, doves, nighthawks, hummingbirds, kingfishers, woodpeckers, flycatchers, larks, swallows, crows, ravens, jays, magpies, chickadees, nuthatches, wrens, thrashers, thrushes, bluebirds, warblers, blackbirds, orioles, finches, sparrows, and many more spring and fall migrants.

Mammals:

White-tailed deer, moose, beaver, muskrat, bats, fox and red squirrel, red fox, coyote, cottontail rabbit, snowshoe hare, white-tailed jackrabbit, mink, badger, skunk, weasel, raccoon, ground squirrels, woodchucks, gophers, chipmunks, mice, voles, and shrews.

Reptiles and Amphibians:

Garter snakes, painted turtles, tiger salamanders, toads, frogs (cricket, chorus, wood, tree and leopard).

Insects:

Many species of moths and butterflies (and maybe a mosquito or two).
